Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Burtonwood's Nestor Chavarria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilberto Porras in the 6th minute of play. Gilberto Porras sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 9 minutes of play, Limon's Minor Pineda made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nestor Chavarria was left in no man's land by his defense there! Benito Montealegre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nestor Chavarria having to interfere. Leon Carvajal might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nestor Chavarria. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leon Carvajal ran back to his position shaking his head. 15 minutes into the game, Roy Alpizar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Burtonwood's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Limon the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Burtonwood fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 14th minute. Penalty! Michael Portuguez charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Michael Portuguez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Clodomiro Coronado walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Nestor Chavarria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Minor Pineda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nestor Chavarria stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Guido Conejo's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. When Michael Portuguez was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 40 minutes had been played. In the 41st match minute, Limon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michael Portuguez to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Limon booed when Burtonwood was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Warner Federspiel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Limon's Guido Conejo got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 46 minutes into the match, Burtonwood's goal looked a bit too open when Josue Rohrmoser came free, but Nestor Chavarria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nicolas Chamberlain showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Otto Morales in the 47th minute of the match. The Burtonwood players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Limon were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Otto Morales to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Burtonwood's goal looked a bit too open when Guido Conejo came free, but Nestor Chavarria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Limon's Nicolas Chamberlain played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Berny Matute in the 55th minute of play. Nicolas Chamberlain showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Warner Federspiel in the 60th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Berny Matute in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nicolas Chamberlain saved Limon from getting behind. In the 65th match minute, Limon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guido Conejo to maneuver through the defense. Nestor Chavarria made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Josue Rohrmoser sent off a good shot on target. Nicolas Chamberlain showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Otto Morales in the 70th minute of the match. Berny Matute recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Berny Matute received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Nicolas Chamberlain tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Limon getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Gilberto Porras hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Berny Matute in the 79th minute of play forced Limon's goalkeeper Nicolas Chamberlain to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Otto Morales received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Nicolas Chamberlain tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Berny Matute took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nicolas Chamberlain. Nicolas Chamberlain dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. If Berny Matute had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Limon had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
