Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Heriberto Sandi to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Rodolfo Oreamuno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 57 minutes into the match, Sapototorax Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Raul Ayala came free, but Fello Varela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sapototorax Fc's Fello Varela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raul Ayala in the 61st minute of play. Federico Calderon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodolfo Oreamuno, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. A throw-in in the 65th minute of the game was made by Virgilio Garro with Olger Viquez as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. If Alberto Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fello Varela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Heriberto Sandi in the 73rd minute of play. Fello Varela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roy Amador, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Federico Calderon was a little too slow when Donald Carazo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 78th minute. The score was now 1-1. Raul Ayala took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fello Varela. Fello Varela dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. After 93 played minutes Sapototorax Fc got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Cruz. In the 94th minute, Roy Amador made a precise shot to the right of Fello Varela. Sapototorax Fc's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. El Carmen FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
