Spectators: 8167 (Terracing: 6127, Seating: 1878, VIP seats: 162) Heriberto Sandi started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Federico Calderon came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Limon's Minor Pineda. But to his dismay, Minor Pineda quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 8 minutes into the game, Guido Conejo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Federico Calderon. Guido Conejo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Josue Rohrmoser fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Federico Calderon having to interfere. After having played for 13 minutes, Minor Pineda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Limon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Minor Pineda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Abel Vanderlat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolas Chamberlain having to interfere. Leon Carvajal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Federico Calderon having to interfere. 22 minutes into the match, El Carmen FC's goal looked a bit too open when Guido Conejo came free, but Federico Calderon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Gilberto Porras managed to get in a good position for a shot. Limon's supporters rose to their feet, but Gilberto Porras was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Federico Calderon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Joaquin Bermudez's late challenge caught a Limon's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joaquin Bermudez helped the player get up and apologised. In the 25th minute, one of El Carmen FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for El Carmen FC. Federico Calderon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guido Conejo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Limon's Gilberto Porras got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Minor Pineda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Federico Calderon was out of position in the 37 minute of play, and Gilberto Porras capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gilberto Porras really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. Guido Conejo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leon Carvajal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Federico Calderon having to interfere. El Carmen FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 44th minute, when Guido Conejo scored to the left of an out of position Federico Calderon, making the score, 5-0.

The wind increased when Minor Pineda made the kick off in the second half. If Josue Rohrmoser had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. Minor Pineda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Federico Calderon having to interfere. 90 minutes into the match, El Carmen FC's goal looked a bit too open when Guido Conejo came free, but Federico Calderon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 91 minutes into the game, Limon's Minor Pineda nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Federico Calderon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. In the 94th minute Minor Pineda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Federico Calderon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Gilberto Porras came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Limon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilberto Porras couldn't finish the play. There was no doubt that Limon were the better team. Limon's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
