When the match clock showed 11 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Cid Leiton sped through Bang Bang Pink's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Daniel Bermudez. Josue Talamanca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johan Ortega, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. 16 minutes into the game, Johan Ortega lined in a short shot 1-1 behind a frustrated Josue Talamanca. In the 34th match minute, Ave Fenix was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jesus Heredia to maneuver through the defense. Carlos Rivas might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Josue Talamanca. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carlos Rivas ran back to his position shaking his head. 35 minutes into the game, Carlos Rivas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bang Bang Pink's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ave Fenix the free kick. A collision led to Bang Bang Pink getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Carlos Rivas hit a great ball. A hard shot 43 in the game by Carlos Rivas from a close distance when the talented Josue Talamanca managed to make a qualified save. Ave Fenix's players were relieved. In the 45th minute, Bang Bang Pink's Ronald Pineda dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gilberto Obando made a kick off. In the 55th match minute, Bang Bang Pink was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronald Pineda to maneuver through the defense. Cid Leiton received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Daniel Bermudez came out and tried to block the shot, but Cid Leiton slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 91st minute. Ave Fenix's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Bang Bang Pink had won, even though Ave Fenix had held more of the ball.
