Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nacho Acuña started the match with the kick off. Nacho Acuña took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alvin Lopez. Alvin Lopez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Nacho Acuña fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvin Lopez having to interfere. 13 minutes into the match, Grecia Futbol Club's goalkeeper Emiliano Victoro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adolfo Coto. 14 minutes into the game, Macho Cespedes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Grecia Futbol Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cobano AFC the free kick. In the 14th minute, Macho Cespedes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adolfo Coto got free with Emiliano Victoro in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 22 played minutes Cobano AFC got a freekick which was hit by Adolfo Coto. In the 24th minute, Macho Cespedes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Macho Cespedes kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the game, Grecia Futbol Club's Nacho Acuña nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alvin Lopez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 39th minute Nacho Acuña shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvin Lopez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alvin Lopez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nacho Acuña's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nacho Acuña in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alvin Lopez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 45 minutes, Emiliano Mondragon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cobano AFC and the Grecia Futbol Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. Emiliano Mondragon kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Nacho Acuña managed to get in a good position for a shot. Grecia Futbol Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Nacho Acuña was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alvin Lopez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Julio Varela stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Grecia Futbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Keylor Arroyo to maneuver through the defense. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Grecia Futbol Club's goalkeeper Emiliano Victoro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 54th match minute, Grecia Futbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nacho Molina to maneuver through the defense. In the 57th minute Julio Varela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emiliano Victoro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Grecia Futbol Club's Emiliano Victoro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adolfo Coto in the 60th minute of play. Adolfo Coto kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. When Grecia Futbol Club's Nacho Acuña in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cobano AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Nacho Acuña received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Emiliano Victoro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adolfo Coto in the 74th minute of the match. 75 minutes into the match, Grecia Futbol Club's Nacho Acuña sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alvin Lopez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Nacho Molina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Cobano AFC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Francisco Bolaños hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nacho Acuña in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alvin Lopez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Macho Cespedes was shown his second yellow card after 81 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Macho Cespedes kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. When Julio Varela came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Cobano AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julio Varela couldn't finish the play. Alvin Lopez was out of position in the 86 minute of play, and Nacho Acuña capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nacho Acuña really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. Keylor Arroyo's late challenge caught a Cobano AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Keylor Arroyo helped the player get up and apologised.
