Keylor Navas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emilio Lozano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th minute, Emilio Lozano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Keylor Navas was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Dennis Guevara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Keylor Navas having to interfere. Dennis Guevara struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Keylor Navas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Real Rosario Central. The Real Rosario Central fans' excitement grew in the 24th match minute when Real Rosario Central's Emilio Lozano looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emilio Lozano to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Omar Sanabria managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Rosario Central's supporters rose to their feet, but Omar Sanabria was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Keylor Navas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Beto Alfaro fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real Rosario Central's protests and gave Beto Alfaro a yellow card for diving instead. When the final whistle sounded Real Rosario Central left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than San José.
