A collision led to Real Rosario Central getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Frank Ulloa hit a great ball. 20 minutes into the match, Real Rosario Central's goal looked a bit too open when Cid Leiton came free, but Emilio Maldonado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute Frank Ulloa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Josue Talamanca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, Ave Fenix's goal looked a bit too open when Ismael Mena came free, but Josue Talamanca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Claudio Duran's late challenge caught a Real Rosario Central's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Claudio Duran helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Real Rosario Central booed when Ave Fenix was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudio Duran didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gilberto Obando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emilio Maldonado having to interfere. The wind increased when Emilio Lozano made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Isidro Leon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gilberto Obando came free with the goalkeeper in the 52nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Emilio Maldonado could save by the left post. After a rather tough play, Real Rosario Central's Salomon Esquivel got a free kick in the 54th minute. If Keilor Alfaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ave Fenix's Cid Leiton got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cid Leiton in the 64thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Emilio Maldonado, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Frank Ulloa hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Tito Cordero kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. In the 81st match minute, Ave Fenix was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronald Villalobos to maneuver through the defense. In the 83rd minute, Omar Sanabria ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Josue Talamanca was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. With a little luck, Real Rosario Central's Emilio Maldonado got control of the ball when Cid Leiton tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Cid Leiton put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Emilio Maldonado. Emilio Maldonado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Obando in the 94th minute of play. The Ave Fenix players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
