Herberto Gaitan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rigoberto Madriz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. The wind increased when Alejandro Osorio made the kick off in the second half. In the 59th minute Johan Ortega shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rigoberto Madriz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johan Ortega in the 66th minute of play forced Xtreme X X's goalkeeper Rigoberto Madriz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
