After 31 minutes of play, Xtreme X X's Nacho Blen made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Desiderio Palben was left in no man's land by his defense there! 35 minutes into the match, CD Juventud Hatillo's goalkeeper Desiderio Palben had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alejandro Osorio. In the 36th minute, Xtreme X X's Minor Vilchez ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Desiderio Palben. Desiderio Palben yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. The supporters of Xtreme X X booed when CD Juventud Hatillo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodolfo Rosales didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anselmo Miranda to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alejandro Osorio in the 71st minute of play forced CD Juventud Hatillo's goalkeeper Desiderio Palben to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Desiderio Palben made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alejandro Osorio in the 76th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alejandro Osorio in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Desiderio Palben saved CD Juventud Hatillo from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Minor Vilchez in the 79th minute of play forced CD Juventud Hatillo's goalkeeper Desiderio Palben to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oscar Ledezma hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. CD Juventud Hatillo's Desiderio Palben played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alejandro Osorio in the 94th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Xtreme X X had played much better football throughout.
