David Loaiza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nelson Aguilar in the 8th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Irvin Quiros in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Orlando Chaclar saved Trontarius from getting behind. When Uriel Quesada fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Momo Colo C.F's protests and gave Uriel Quesada a yellow card for diving instead. After 12 played minutes Momo Colo C.F got a freekick which was hit by Uriel Quesada. In the 13th minute of the match Alejandro Trejos sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but David Loaiza skillfully saved the ball. Santiago Rohrmoser fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orlando Chaclar having to interfere. Irvin Quiros kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 18thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Trontarius's keeper Orlando Chaclar was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Alexis Bolaños kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 21 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Irvin Quiros sped through Trontarius's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Orlando Chaclar. After 25 played minutes Trontarius got a freekick which was hit by Alexis Bolaños. In the 29th minute, Alexis Bolaños ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. David Loaiza was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Isidoro Loria during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 41 minutes, Santiago Rohrmoser mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Momo Colo C.F and the Trontarius players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Momo Colo C.F getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Santiago Rohrmoser hit a great ball. In the 48th minute, Nelson Aguilar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Trontarius fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nelson Aguilar made a kick off. Orlando Chaclar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Irvin Quiros, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Isidoro Loria's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 58thth minute, David Loaiza skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After having played for 67 minutes, Isidoro Loria managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Trontarius's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isidoro Loria was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Santiago Rohrmoser came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Momo Colo C.F fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Santiago Rohrmoser couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Momo Colo C.F booed when Trontarius was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexis Bolaños didn't get a good kick on the ball. Santiago Rohrmoser sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Orlando Chaclar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Irvin Quiros in the 82nd minute of play. Isidoro Loria could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but David Loaiza made a huge save.
