Willy Oreamuno stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andrei Paniagua's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Pingones FC's goal looked a bit too open when Otoniel Soto came free, but Elmer Arrieta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute, Andrei Paniagua left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pingones FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Andrei Paniagua took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Willy Oreamuno. Willy Oreamuno dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andrei Paniagua in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Willy Oreamuno prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Giovanni Paniagua blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Willy Oreamuno having to make a save. If Andrei Paniagua had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 40th minute Salvador Mata shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Willy Oreamuno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. GALÁCTICOS FC's Willy Oreamuno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Salvador Mata in the 42nd minute of play. Andrei Paniagua fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Willy Oreamuno having to interfere. In the 46th minute Rogelio Garro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elmer Arrieta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Pingones FC were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anibal Martinez made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Pingones FC's Mariano Soto got a free kick in the 58th minute. In the 59th minute of the match Alvaro Alfaro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Elmer Arrieta skillfully saved the ball. Pingones FC's Elmer Arrieta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anibal Martinez in the 61st minute of play. 62 minutes into the game, Michael Oses was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. GALÁCTICOS FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 67th minute, when Andrei Paniagua scored to the left of an out of position Willy Oreamuno, making the score, 0-5. With his leg Willy Oreamuno managed to avoid a goal in the 71stth minute, when Pingones FC's Andrei Paniagua fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After having played for 76 minutes, Giovanni Paniagua managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pingones FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Giovanni Paniagua was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Andrei Paniagua's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 79thth minute, Willy Oreamuno skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind GALÁCTICOS FC's goalkeeper Willy Oreamuno, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Andrei Paniagua received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Willy Oreamuno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Pingones FC booed when GALÁCTICOS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pancho Herrera didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pingones FC's Andrei Paniagua couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 97th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for GALÁCTICOS FC. When the match was over Pingones FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than GALÁCTICOS FC throughout the match.
