Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Julio Gamboa took the kick off in the first half of the match. Julio Gamboa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tomás Rosado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. With a little luck, Orosi's Tomás Rosado got control of the ball when Raul Nuñez tried to sneak it across the goal line. 6 minutes into the match, Raul Nuñez notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Orosi's Tomás Rosado. Tomás Rosado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Daniel Varela could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Tomás Rosado made a huge save. With 11 minutes on the clock, Gabriel Carvajal commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Julio Gamboa took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Tomás Rosado to make any attempt to save it. Tomás Rosado made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Raul Nuñez sent off a good shot on target. 17 minutes into the game, Julio Gamboa recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tomás Rosado. Julio Gamboa showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Julio Gamboa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Tomás Rosado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 22nd minute Rene Orlich shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Asdrubal Mejias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Copal FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Andres Gallo hit a great ball. After having played for 24 minutes, Alfredo Serrano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Copal FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfredo Serrano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Rene Orlich came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Orosi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rene Orlich couldn't finish the play. In the 42nd minute, Orosi's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Raul Nuñez fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Copal FC's Asdrubal Mejias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rene Orlich in the 44th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Julio Gamboa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Copal FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Julio Gamboa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tomás Rosado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Copal FC's Daniel Varela got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rene Orlich to make the kick off. Julio Gamboa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Tomás Rosado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Mauricio Quiros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Rene Orlich had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mauricio Quiros hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. 68 minutes into the game, Daniel Varela cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Tomás Rosado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 72nd minute, Orosi's Rene Orlich dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-2. 83 minutes into the game, Orosi's Rene Orlich nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Asdrubal Mejias made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-3. 88 minutes into the match, Orosi's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Serrano came free, but Tomás Rosado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomás Rosado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raul Nuñez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Copal FC's Asdrubal Mejias proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Copal FC from getting a goal against them. Tomás Rosado came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Copal FC's Raul Nuñez. But to his dismay, Raul Nuñez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-3. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Copal FC had won after a very even match.
