Jesus Cortez hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. David Talamanca received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Antonio Van Brussel came out and tried to block the shot, but David Talamanca slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 13th minute. 17 minutes into the match, OROTINENSE's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Gaueko came free, but Liu Yong Yong reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Antonio Van Brussel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Talamanca, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 22nd match minute, PUNTARENENSE F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nacho Cordoba to maneuver through the defense. Antonio Van Brussel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from David Talamanca went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Songurhan Mete to make the kick off. Vinicio Medina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Liu Yong Yong having to interfere. OROTINENSE's Liu Yong Yong played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vinicio Medina in the 61st minute of play. Antonio Van Brussel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of David Talamanca's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. In the 71st minute of the match, Vinicio Medina tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Liu Yong Yong saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vinicio Medina in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Liu Yong Yong saved OROTINENSE from getting behind. Antonio Van Brussel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Songurhan Mete, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Thanks to some nice moves Julian Gaueko could shoot a difficult shot in the 75th minute, which Liu Yong Yong however easily saved by the left post. For all the effort they put into the match, the PUNTARENENSE F.C players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense.
