Roberto Benat made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 21st minute, Carlos Cambronero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bernardo Arias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dan Săvescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alfonso Molina was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Minor Godinez in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roberto Benat saved PANTHER BLUE from getting behind. 55 minutes into the match, PANTHER BLUE's goal looked a bit too open when Minor Godinez came free, but Roberto Benat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gabriel Solera kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frank Soto in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roberto Benat saved PANTHER BLUE from getting behind. Roberto Benat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Soto in the 59th minute of play. In the 61st minute, Minor Godinez made a precise shot to the right of Roberto Benat. PANTHER BLUE's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. PANTHER BLUE's Gonzalo Garita was substituted for Alexander Cubero. Roberto Benat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Minor Godinez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlos Cambronero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
