In the 3rd match minute, Diablos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Osvaldo Sarceada to maneuver through the defense. 7 minutes into the match, Resto Maneiro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Botello Hierro, 1-0. When Ted Gorvea came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Diablos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ted Gorvea couldn't finish the play. Resto Maneiro hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. 15 minutes into the match, Ted Gorvea had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rene Acebedo. Jaillina's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ted Gorvea was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Rene Acebedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ted Gorvea, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cutberto Zarra during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 21st match minute, Diablos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reimundo Joli to maneuver through the defense. Rene Acebedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Estavan Teijeira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Jaillina's Iago Mendizabal got a free kick in the 24th minute. When Diablos's Ted Gorvea in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Jaillina's goalie prevented a goal. Ted Gorvea blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rene Acebedo having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Jaillina's Iago Mendizabal got a free kick in the 39th minute. In the 41stth minute of the game Ted Gorvea who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jaillina's Rene Acebedo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Xacintu Molledo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Rene Acebedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Diablos were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The wind increased when Ted Gorvea made the kick off in the second half. Ruisko Paternina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Diablos's Botello Hierro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cutberto Zarra in the 61st minute of play. Resto Maneiro took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Botello Hierro. Botello Hierro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. A collision led to Jaillina getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Iago Mendizabal hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ted Gorvea got free with Rene Acebedo in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Osvaldo Sarceada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ted Gorvea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ted Gorvea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rene Acebedo having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Diablos's Reimundo Joli got a free kick in the 94th minute. In the 95th minute, Laurendi Villornate sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Diablos's Botello Hierro didn't even have to move.
