With a couple of smart ball manuevers Torsten Rydelius in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ramiro Pañizares saved Huechicona FC from getting behind. 35 minutes into the match, AL FC's Torsten Rydelius sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ramiro Pañizares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Huechicona FC defense, Torsten Rydelius kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ramiro Pañizares. The Huechicona FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ramiro Pañizares should have stopped the shot. Astor Mendieta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xaver Castells, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Brun Rios made a kick off. 58 minutes into the game, AL FC's Torsten Rydelius nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ramiro Pañizares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Torsten Rydelius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramiro Pañizares having to interfere. Ramiro Pañizares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Torsten Rydelius's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. With an all-out effort, Huechicona FC's Astor Mendieta threw himself towards the right post 81 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Honorato Baruz, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Honorato Baruz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Astor Mendieta having to interfere. Xaver Castells could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Astor Mendieta made a huge save. 90 minutes into the match, Huechicona FC's goal looked a bit too open when Torsten Rydelius came free, but Ramiro Pañizares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Ciro Cearense came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the AL FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ciro Cearense couldn't finish the play.
