Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Quirze Pacios got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute, Egoi Pico got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ramirez Zabarte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Helder Legarda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lonzo Haces fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Otsoa Ballin having to interfere. Lonzo Haces could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Otsoa Ballin made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Chicchicay's zone, Ramirez Zabarte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Helder Legarda came out of the goal and Ramirez Zabarte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 17 minutes, Bernad Mondragon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chicchicay and the Jalanta players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Chicchicay getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Bernad Mondragon hit a great ball. Otsoa Ballin made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Lonzo Haces sent off a good shot on target. 33 minutes into the match, Chicchicay's goal looked a bit too open when Ramirez Zabarte came free, but Helder Legarda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Lonzo Haces had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ramirez Zabarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cresconio Saldoval made a kick off. After having played for 55 minutes, Lonzo Haces managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chicchicay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lonzo Haces was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Chicchicay getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Fero Bullan hit a great ball. Sidoro Goiti hit a great ball. 67 minutes into the match, Chicchicay's Lonzo Haces sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Otsoa Ballin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Egoi Pico fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jalanta's protests and gave Egoi Pico a yellow card for diving instead. After having played for 69 minutes, Lonzo Haces managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jalanta's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Otsoa Ballin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chicchicay. Ramirez Zabarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Chicchicay's Lonzo Haces in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Jalanta's goalie prevented a goal. Fero Bullan kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Jalanta walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
