Spectators: 7524 (Terracing: 5644, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Markvincent Cuffaro took the kick off in the first half of the match. Dantel Sotelo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hegoi Zubiaga in the 4th minute of play. After 5 minutes of play, Univ.Técnica de Cajamarca's Ronaldo Nazario made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Romo Begal was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Mart Breinburg in the 9th minute of play forced ZORTKUOJA FC's goalkeeper Romo Begal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10th minute Felice Caponera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romo Begal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felice Caponera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ronaldo Nazario received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Romo Begal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vasco Perero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Romo Begal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldo Nazario in the 19th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, ZORTKUOJA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldo Nazario came free, but Romo Begal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vasco Perero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romo Begal having to interfere. Vasco Perero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Romo Begal made a huge save. 25 minutes into the game, Hegoi Zubiaga was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ZORTKUOJA FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Univ.Técnica de Cajamarca the free kick. Hegoi Zubiaga hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. 2-0 became the score in the 28th minute when Felice Caponera elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Ronaldo Nazario managed to get in a good position for a shot. Univ.Técnica de Cajamarca's supporters rose to their feet, but Ronaldo Nazario was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Romo Begal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Vasco Perero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Romo Begal came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Univ.Técnica de Cajamarca's Vasco Perero. But to his dismay, Vasco Perero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. When Univ.Técnica de Cajamarca's Ronaldo Nazario in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ZORTKUOJA FC's goalie prevented a goal. Romo Begal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mart Breinburg in the 59th minute of play. Romo Begal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vasco Perero's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Romo Begal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vasco Perero went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Ronaldo Nazario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Ronaldo Nazario put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Romo Begal. After a defensive mix-up in ZORTKUOJA FC's zone, Vasco Perero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Romo Begal came out of the goal and Vasco Perero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vasco Perero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romo Begal having to interfere. Romo Begal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felice Caponera in the 79th minute of play. In the 80th minute, Hegoi Zubiaga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Mart Breinburg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. ZORTKUOJA FC's Romo Begal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldo Nazario in the 83rd minute of play. During the 84th minute of the match Hegoi Zubiaga completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Hegoi Zubiaga a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, ZORTKUOJA FC's Hegoi Zubiaga got a free kick in the 84th minute. 89 minutes into the match, Univ.Técnica de Cajamarca's Ronaldo Nazario sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Romo Begal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the referee ended the match the Univ.Técnica de Cajamarca players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
