Xacobo Espinosa was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 18 minutes into the game, Xesus Baltuile was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Casarana's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Suyomachay the free kick. After a rather tough play, Casarana's Xesus Baltuile got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 50th minute Casarana were awarded a corner. Ourente Santiso went to the cornerflag to take it. Ourente Santiso made a great header on Casarana's corner, it was just that Suyomachay's Xacobo Espinosa managed to reach the ball for a save. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.
After 55 played minutes Casarana got a freekick which was hit by Teodosio Pazos. If Bazkoare Carabajal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. With his leg Xacobo Espinosa managed to avoid a goal in the 81stth minute, when Casarana's Bazkoare Carabajal fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Udalaitz Clas kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. If Bazkoare Carabajal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Suyomachay's Udalaitz Clas got a free kick in the 85th minute. Xacobo Espinosa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bazkoare Carabajal in the 90th minute. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Suyomachay's goalkeeper Xacobo Espinosa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bazkoare Carabajal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xacobo Espinosa having to interfere.
