The Huayo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. When Joam Asensio fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Huayo's protests and gave Joam Asensio a yellow card for diving instead. Joam Asensio hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vicemte Varon in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Severiano Freire saved Huayo from getting behind. Hondo Acebo hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hondo Acebo during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Huayo booed when Taracoma was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hondo Acebo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Taracoma's Ixidor Mazuelo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldo Raigadas in the 38th minute of play. Aimar Rosello's late challenge caught a Huayo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aimar Rosello helped the player get up and apologised. Aimar Rosello hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joam Asensio was the one to do the kick off.
