Incendio Salto yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Umpapata's Barto Boliaga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Salvidor Vendrell in the 11th minute of play. Umpapata's Matro Calera got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Matro Calera during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Umpapata getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Matro Calera hit a great ball. If Matro Calera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th minute, Umpapata's Matro Calera dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. After a rather tough play, PERU's Gero Tudela got a free kick in the 27th minute. Incendio Salto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Camilo Tovilleja in the 29th minute of the match. PERU's Incendio Salto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save PERU from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Camilo Tovilleja in the 33rd minute of play forced PERU's goalkeeper Incendio Salto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Camilo Tovilleja's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 39thth minute, Incendio Salto skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a defensive mix-up in PERU's zone, Camilo Tovilleja stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Incendio Salto came out of the goal and Camilo Tovilleja tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to PERU getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Gero Tudela hit a great ball. Incendio Salto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Matro Calera in the 45th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Camilo Tovilleja made the kick off in the second half. The long shot by Bero Borizar in the 58th minute really tested Barto Boliaga's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Matro Calera took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Incendio Salto. Incendio Salto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Camilo Tovilleja sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in PERU's zone, Marz Marsol stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Incendio Salto came out of the goal and Marz Marsol tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Matro Calera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Camilo Tovilleja had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Incendio Salto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Matro Calera's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. Incendio Salto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matro Calera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matro Calera in the 87th minute of play forced PERU's goalkeeper Incendio Salto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Matro Calera's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Incendio Salto was relentless in the 90th minute of the game.
