In a very dangerous position, a player in Urpay FBC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 7th minute. Penalty! In the 8th minute, the referee gave PERU a penalty. Eneko Pernau looked confident and blasted the ball into goal by the left post, totally unstoppable for Hibai Valera. Eduardo Zurbano was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 12 minutes into the match. Rami Sanjurjo shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Christobal Calero in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hibai Valera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 27th minute Christobal Calero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hibai Valera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mendiko Jaimes's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 32ndth minute, Hibai Valera skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Christobal Calero was the one to do the kick off. When the match clock showed 51 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Christobal Calero sped through Urpay FBC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hibai Valera. In the 58th minute, Christobal Calero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hibai Valera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cresencio Tremiño went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Christobal Calero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 65 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Castel Montiel sped through Urpay FBC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hibai Valera. PERU's Jose-Antonio Rodrigo was substituted for Christobal Calero. PERU made a substitution. Roberto Cobarrubias replaced Castel Montiel. Hibai Valera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jose-Antonio Rodrigo, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Hibai Valera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 85th minute, Roberto Cobarrubias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Roberto Cobarrubias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Hibai Valera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hibai Valera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jose-Antonio Rodrigo's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. Roberto Cobarrubias's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hibai Valera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. PERU's Jose-Antonio Rodrigo got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roberto Cobarrubias in the 96th minute of play forced Urpay FBC's goalkeeper Hibai Valera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There was no doubt that PERU were the better team. PERU's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
