The supporters of Cuille booed when Mamanahuina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maiorga Raedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Erroman Sarasua kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Archibaldo Rioseras's late challenge caught a Cuille's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Archibaldo Rioseras helped the player get up and apologised. Michael Villalambrus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacinto Irisarri in the 47th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cerilo Leniz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Michael Villalambrus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Beat Santibañez in the 95th minute of the match. Cuille's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
