The audience thought a goal was coming when Bingen Gill got free with Angelino Buitrago in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Angelino Buitrago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zenon Jayaga, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. If Zenon Jayaga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 26 played minutes FC.Manchester United got a freekick which was hit by Brun Lada. Angelino Buitrago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zenon Jayaga in the 33rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC.Manchester United's Valentine Picado got a free kick in the 33rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in FC.Manchester United's zone, Zenon Jayaga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angelino Buitrago came out of the goal and Zenon Jayaga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. FC.Manchester United's Angelino Buitrago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chano Vilanova in the 42nd minute of play. Zenon Jayaga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelino Buitrago having to interfere. Angelino Buitrago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chano Vilanova in the 45th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bingen Gill got free with Angelino Buitrago in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

In the 53rd minute, Chano Vilanova got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zenon Jayaga struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Angelino Buitrago didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Japulco. 60 minutes into the match, FC.Manchester United's goal looked a bit too open when Bingen Gill came free, but Angelino Buitrago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zenon Jayaga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 65th minute Bingen Gill shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelino Buitrago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bingen Gill scored 3-1 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Angelino Buitrago, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. FC.Manchester United's Angelino Buitrago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bingen Gill in the 74th minute of play. In the 75th minute Bingen Gill shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelino Buitrago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 77 minutes into the match, Bingen Gill notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of FC.Manchester United's Angelino Buitrago. Angelino Buitrago was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Zenon Jayaga came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Japulco fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zenon Jayaga couldn't finish the play. Zenon Jayaga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Angelino Buitrago tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Japulco players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
