Spectators: 7524 (Terracing: 5644, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 150) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Urbes Muñoz got the match started through his kick off. Luzaide Tramontes scored 1-0 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fernandez Vinyals, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Chabier Fontanez hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Joneline's Luzaide Tramontes got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luzaide Tramontes's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Fernandez Vinyals firmly grabbed it by the left post. Luzaide Tramontess short, quick shot in the 19thth minute got Fernandez Vinyals to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 20th minute, Otsando Cubillas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 23 minutes into the match, Alianza Lima's goal looked a bit too open when Vladimiro Besteiro came free, but Fernandez Vinyals reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Alianza Lima getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Vitor Alsina hit a great ball. 26 minutes into the game, Etxahun Canedo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alianza Lima's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Joneline the free kick. In the 27th minute, Alianza Lima's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Luzaide Tramontes fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. A collision led to Alianza Lima getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Otsando Cubillas hit a great ball. When Vladimiro Besteiro came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Joneline fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vladimiro Besteiro couldn't finish the play. Luzaide Tramontes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernandez Vinyals having to interfere. Vladimiro Besteiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luzaide Tramontes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 41st minute, Vasco Panero left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Alianza Lima fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vladimiro Besteiro made a kick off. Luzaide Tramontes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 56th minute Urbes Muñoz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marshall Butcher saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Joneline booed when Alianza Lima was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vasco Panero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luzaide Tramontes might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fernandez Vinyals. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luzaide Tramontes ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 63rd minute, Nemesio Mangual hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladimiro Besteiro in the 65th minute of play forced Alianza Lima's goalkeeper Fernandez Vinyals to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luzaide Tramontes took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fernandez Vinyals. Fernandez Vinyals dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. In the 74th minute Luzaide Tramontes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernandez Vinyals saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 77 played minutes, Alianza Lima's Kaiet Cariton shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Marshall Butcher came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Alianza Lima reached it. 78 minutes into the match, Luzaide Tramontes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fernandez Vinyals. Alianza Lima's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luzaide Tramontes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. After some careless play in the Alianza Lima defense, Luzaide Tramontes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fernandez Vinyals. The Alianza Lima fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fernandez Vinyals should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Luzaide Tramontes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Joneline's supporters rose to their feet, but Luzaide Tramontes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fernandez Vinyals breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Luzaide Tramontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
