Kåre Rød started the match with the kick off. 6 minutes into the match, Cope FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kåre Rød came free, but Eguntsenti Villarinos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 8 played minutes Sporting Pocito got a freekick which was hit by Zachariasz Zdanowicz. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kåre Rød in the 12th minute of play forced Cope FC's goalkeeper Eguntsenti Villarinos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 13 minutes, Eguntsenti Villarinos successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Menendo Ruisaez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Eguntsenti Villarinos made a huge save. Maore Güega got his second yellow card in the match during the 17th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. If Timeteo Zubillaga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 25 minutes into the match, Kåre Rød dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Eguntsenti Villarinos, 1-0. In the 28th minute Kåre Rød shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eguntsenti Villarinos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kåre Rød struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Eguntsenti Villarinos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sporting Pocito. Sporting Pocito's Kåre Rød got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Timeteo Zubillaga took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 42nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eguntsenti Villarinos. Cope FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Maule Obies to strike the kick off in the second half. Eguntsenti Villarinos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Menendo Ruisaez in the 52nd minute of play. 53 minutes into the game, Kåre Rød cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Eguntsenti Villarinos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kåre Rød in the 56th minute of play forced Cope FC's goalkeeper Eguntsenti Villarinos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Cope FC's zone, Timeteo Zubillaga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eguntsenti Villarinos came out of the goal and Timeteo Zubillaga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match clock showed 59 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Kåre Rød sped through Cope FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eguntsenti Villarinos. Kåre Rød sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 66 minutes into the match, Menendo Ruisaez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eguntsenti Villarinos. Cope FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Menendo Ruisaez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. After having played for 69 minutes, Menendo Ruisaez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sporting Pocito's supporters crossed their fingers, but Menendo Ruisaez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kåre Rød received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Eguntsenti Villarinos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Sporting Pocito booed when Cope FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romano Agulla didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cope FC's Eguntsenti Villarinos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kåre Rød in the 75th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Kåre Rød put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Eguntsenti Villarinos. Eguntsenti Villarinos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kåre Rød, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Menendo Ruisaez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Menendo Ruisaez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eguntsenti Villarinos having to interfere. Sporting Pocito walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
