After having played for 20 minutes, Zabal Rosabel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. USMP-FIA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zabal Rosabel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ixona Lerena showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Zabal Rosabel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61stth minute of the game Sal Alvarado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but USMP-FIA's Oliveiro Licardi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 68 minutes, Ixona Lerena successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ovando Maceira during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Raycancha FC getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Juanito Fontao hit a great ball. The Raycancha FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching USMP-FIA's performance. The match ended with a win for USMP-FIA.
