Spectators: 7846 (Terracing: 5890, Seating: 1806, VIP seats: 150) Machacc's Llanos Nogal started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Matro Atauri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simao Reza in the 5th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Simao Reza in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Matro Atauri saved Machacc from getting behind. When Sacachacaypa's Ramond Subirada, in the 8th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Sacachacaypa. When Jaime Legaspi fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Machacc's protests and gave Jaime Legaspi a yellow card for diving instead. After 11 played minutes Machacc got a freekick which was hit by Jaime Legaspi. Simao Reza scored 0-1 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Matro Atauri, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Sacachacaypa getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Maxin Ruberte hit a great ball. Berdaitz Noceda, 21 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Tercero Tricio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Zacarias Martioda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Tercero Tricio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Llanos Nogal in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zacarias Martioda prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Matro Atauri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramond Subirada in the 30th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simao Reza in the 32nd minute of play forced Machacc's goalkeeper Matro Atauri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matro Atauri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramond Subirada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Machacc's Matro Atauri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simao Reza in the 37th minute of play. Ramond Subirada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Simao Reza took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Matro Atauri. Matro Atauri dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ramond Subirada stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute Llanos Nogal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zacarias Martioda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Machacc's zone, Ramond Subirada stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matro Atauri came out of the goal and Ramond Subirada tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Ramond Subirada came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Sacachacaypa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ramond Subirada couldn't finish the play. In the 65th minute Ramond Subirada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matro Atauri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Simao Reza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Matro Atauri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Machacc's Matro Atauri proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Machacc from getting a goal against them.
