Lon Irulegui showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Salvino Cavia, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. The audience was convinced that Salvino Cavia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lon Irulegui was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Salvino Cavia made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Mirgas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hug Loarte came free, but Lon Irulegui reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Menendo Ali's late challenge caught a Unión Huaral's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Menendo Ali helped the player get up and apologised. After 74 played minutes Mirgas FC got a freekick which was hit by Menendo Ali. Salvino Cavia in the 75thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Lon Irulegui, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Lonzo Eguia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Restu Acipreste in the 77th minute of play. After 82 played minutes Unión Huaral got a freekick which was hit by Salvino Cavia. In the 87th minute, one of Mirgas FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Mirgas FC. Mirgas FC:s Lon Irulegui showed great skill when he stopped Hug Loarte:s penalty. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Hug Loarte took a quick shot and it went in 2-4 without a chance for Lon Irulegui to make any attempt to save it. The supporters of Mirgas FC booed when Unión Huaral was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hug Loarte didn't get a good kick on the ball. Salvino Cavia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lon Irulegui having to interfere. Nicanor Cerrabe struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Lon Irulegui didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Unión Huaral. When the match was over Unión Huaral could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Mirgas FC throughout the match.
