Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The supporters of Morrope booed when Chipcho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Berasko Lebrija didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 5th minute of the match Txurio Lebrato shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rik Caride showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Morrope's Roegelio Laguardia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Urtungo Faria in the 14th minute of play. Canor Cuba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Roegelio Laguardia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rik Caride came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Morrope's Jose-Antonio Fernandez. But to his dismay, Jose-Antonio Fernandez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Canor Cuba could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Roegelio Laguardia made a huge save. In the 35th minute Hernandez Cuello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rik Caride saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Canor Cuba got free with Roegelio Laguardia in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 40 minutes into the match, Morrope's goalkeeper Roegelio Laguardia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paio Argüelles. In the 47th minute, Canor Cuba got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hernandez Cuello to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Canor Cuba managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chipcho's supporters rose to their feet, but Canor Cuba was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roegelio Laguardia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Canor Cuba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Roegelio Laguardia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Urtungo Faria in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roegelio Laguardia saved Morrope from getting behind. Roegelio Laguardia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Urtungo Faria, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jose-Antonio Fernandez got free with Rik Caride in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Jose-Antonio Fernandez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hernandez Cuello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Canor Cuba managed to get in a good position for a shot. The audience was convinced that Hernandez Cuello's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rik Caride was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. Rik Caride took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hernandez Cuello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Chipcho's zone, Jose-Antonio Fernandez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rik Caride came out of the goal and Jose-Antonio Fernandez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
