Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Argi Gayferos kicked off to start the match. Gai Adarzo struck a weak shot in the 2nd minute. Rius Fuentecilla didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Salcabamba. After a defensive mix-up in Salcabamba's zone, Argi Gayferos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Madeo Iglesia came out of the goal and Argi Gayferos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mark Bargues kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. After having played for 10 minutes, Gai Adarzo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Salcabamba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gai Adarzo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jose Zulueta charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jose Zulueta the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sadurni Santavida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Madeo Iglesia having to interfere. Sancho Lamas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rius Fuentecilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sancho Lamas, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After 25 minutes, Lucio Gurendes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Piruani and the Salcabamba players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 25th match minute, Piruani was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucio Gurendes to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Salcabamba booed when Piruani was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jerold Llacin didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sancho Lamas in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rius Fuentecilla saved Piruani from getting behind. Sancho Lamas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sancho Lamas to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Piruani getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Salbatore Pablo hit a great ball. With a little luck, Piruani's Rius Fuentecilla got control of the ball when Gai Adarzo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Salcabamba's Perrando Granero suffered a sore thigh after 56 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The supporters of Salcabamba booed when Piruani was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salbatore Pablo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Salcabamba's Gai Adarzo got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 62nd minute, Sancho Lamas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Salcabamba booed when Piruani was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaen Calles didn't get a good kick on the ball. Salcabamba's Madeo Iglesia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Argi Gayferos in the 66th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, Sadurni Santavida notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Salcabamba's Madeo Iglesia. Madeo Iglesia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sadurni Santavida recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Argi Gayferos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Madeo Iglesia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 82 minutes into the match, Piruani's Sadurni Santavida sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Madeo Iglesia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gai Adarzo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Rius Fuentecilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 97 minutes into the game, Sadurni Santavida cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Madeo Iglesia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the referee blew the final whistle, Piruani could leave the field as winners, despite Salcabamba having more of the ball for most of the match.
