Chachani were furious when Adriano Dosal was red carded, 16 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 17th minute, Adriano Dosal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benicio Urti took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 18th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Barros Mioño. Chachani's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Chachani's Barros Mioño played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fermin Artealde in the 19th minute of play. Barros Mioño showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guillermo Calvino in the 21st minute of the match. In the 24th minute of the match, Lucila Millan tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Benji Wakabayashi saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Deportivo Dannita's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lucila Millan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. The Deportivo Dannita fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Dannita's zone, Lucila Millan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benji Wakabayashi came out of the goal and Lucila Millan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fermin Artealde stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Barros Mioño took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mederi Austria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Beremundo Rendueles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Deportivo Dannita booed when Chachani was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Azibar Tabares didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Inocencio Lucian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Chachani's Barros Mioño got control of the ball when Inocencio Lucian tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Deportivo Dannita getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Benicio Urti hit a great ball. Inocencio Lucian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Barros Mioño didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo Dannita. Despite being the better team, Deportivo Dannita failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
