The UNMSM FC fans' excitement grew in the 35th match minute when UNMSM FC's Txanton Ascot looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Maura Ruelas hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. In the 40th minute, Maura Ruelas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Salitre's Arixo Arrazola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Llin Olmedilla in the 41st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Txanton Ascot in the 42nd minute of play forced Salitre's goalkeeper Arixo Arrazola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Espiridion Venero kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Arixo Arrazola stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Llin Olmedilla's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. 48 minutes into the match, Salitre's goal looked a bit too open when Txanton Ascot came free, but Arixo Arrazola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Angelo Deaguero to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, UNMSM FC's Txanton Ascot nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arixo Arrazola was out of position in the 67 minute of play, and Llin Olmedilla capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Llin Olmedilla really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. Salitre's Arixo Arrazola proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Salitre from getting a goal against them. Millan Limiñana blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arixo Arrazola having to make a save. After having played for 81 minutes, Llin Olmedilla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UNMSM FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Llin Olmedilla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Llin Olmedilla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th minute, Txanton Ascot left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The UNMSM FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. 90 minutes into the match, Salitre's goalkeeper Arixo Arrazola had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Millan Limiñana. In the 92nd minute, Angelo Deaguero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 97th minute of the match Gelmiro Olloque shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arixo Arrazola showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.
