The supporters of Chachani booed when Salitre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maura Ruelas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Beremundo Rendueles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Angelo Deaguero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Oalo Aranguren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 24 minutes, Kepa Quintero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Salitre's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kepa Quintero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Oalo Aranguren made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kepa Quintero got free with Barros Mioño in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelo Deaguero in the 59th minute of play forced Chachani's goalkeeper Barros Mioño to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chants of Salitre echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Chachani had held the ball for most of the match.
