In the 21st minute, Leandro Herrasti made a precise shot to the right of Senon Fuica. Deportivo Acari's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Erubiel Loiola made an important save on a dangerous shot by Froilan Valcazar in the 25th minute. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Olentzaro Rino to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Dalmau Higuera had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Erubiel Loiola. Sapahuain's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dalmau Higuera was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. After having played for 59 minutes, Leandro Herrasti managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sapahuain's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leandro Herrasti was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Senon Fuica showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leandro Herrasti, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 62nd minute, Cidro Deleyto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Erubiel Loiola was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cidro Deleyto during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Acari's Cidro Deleyto got a free kick in the 75th minute. Kubilay Umuralp came free with the goalkeeper in the 80th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Senon Fuica could save by the left post.
