Spectators: 8055 (Terracing: 6127, Seating: 1878, VIP seats: 50) Thundercats's Cipriano Neiva started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cipriano Neiva could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Przemyslaw Kanczuszewski made a huge save. Domingos Barrena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iturri Irisarri in the 6th minute of play. Cipriano Neiva kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 7thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Ancolaya's keeper Przemyslaw Kanczuszewski was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. After a defensive mix-up in Thundercats's zone, Iturri Irisarri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Domingos Barrena came out of the goal and Iturri Irisarri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 10th minute, Ryszard Wolczewski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thundercats's Domingos Barrena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iturri Irisarri in the 13th minute of play. Cipriano Neiva was extremely unlucky when he, in the 17th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Domingos Barrena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orland Brañas in the 23rd minute of play. Thundercats's Domingos Barrena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iturri Irisarri in the 25th minute of play. After 32 minutes of play, Thundercats's Cipriano Neiva made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Przemyslaw Kanczuszewski was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Gorri Buscando managed to get in a good position for a shot. Thundercats's supporters rose to their feet, but Gorri Buscando was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Przemyslaw Kanczuszewski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 2-0 became the score in the 40th minute when Goyo Viscon elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Tage Söderlund hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Cipriano Neiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Orland Brañas to make the kick off. Iturri Irisarri blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Domingos Barrena having to make a save. In the 56th minute Cipriano Neiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Przemyslaw Kanczuszewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70th minute, Gorri Buscando made a precise shot to the right of Przemyslaw Kanczuszewski. Ancolaya's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cipriano Neiva in the 73rd minute of play forced Ancolaya's goalkeeper Przemyslaw Kanczuszewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Galsino Quintana fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cipriano Neiva in the 76th minute of play forced Ancolaya's goalkeeper Przemyslaw Kanczuszewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gorri Buscando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 90thth minute of the game Cipriano Neiva who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ancolaya's Przemyslaw Kanczuszewski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 94th minute, Rocendo Guillamas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Thundercats had played much better football throughout.
