Xavieon Estopinal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Atauri Candelera's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Germano Villaran during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Germano Villaran kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the game, Oton Acevedo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Claudio Hoyuelos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 37 minutes into the match, Club Alianza Lima's goalkeeper Xavieon Estopinal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cosme Hurtaran. Claudio Hoyuelos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Club Alianza Lima walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
