Playo Cavero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juvenal Colmenares, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Betadur Viladrosa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Guillerme Espejo. AC Libertad's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Betadur Viladrosa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Guillerme Espejo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joam Bodes's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. After a rather tough play, AC Libertad's Jerardo Rebolloso got a free kick in the 24th minute. Guillerme Espejo was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Ugaitz Aranda. After having played for 27 minutes, Juvenal Colmenares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AC Libertad's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juvenal Colmenares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Betadur Viladrosa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alianza Lima's supporters rose to their feet, but Betadur Viladrosa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guillerme Espejo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Joam Bodes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Guillerme Espejo having to make a save. Gustau Arnedo kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Eutropio Benegas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eutropio Benegas made a kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Alianza Lima's Betadur Viladrosa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Guillerme Espejo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 55th minute, Betadur Viladrosa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alianza Lima's Joam Bodes got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Juvenal Colmenares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Guillerme Espejo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Betadur Viladrosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
