Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Porfirio Ponga got the match started through his kick off. After 8 minutes, Ramirez Remon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alianza Lima and the Sapotal players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ramirez Remon hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Porfirio Ponga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Playo Cavero having to interfere. In the 15th minute Betadur Viladrosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Garriga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, Sapotal 's goal looked a bit too open when Joam Bodes came free, but Omar Garriga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alianza Lima's Playo Cavero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Froylan Labastida in the 25th minute of play. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Porfirio Ponga sped through Alianza Lima's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Playo Cavero. Playo Cavero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raul Ugarte in the 31st minute of play. A hard shot 33 in the game by Porfirio Ponga from a close distance when the talented Playo Cavero managed to make a qualified save. Alianza Lima's players were relieved. After a defensive mix-up in Alianza Lima's zone, Froylan Labastida stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Playo Cavero came out of the goal and Froylan Labastida tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Froylan Labastida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Betadur Viladrosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Omar Garriga having to interfere. Playo Cavero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Froylan Labastida, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When Joam Bodes came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Alianza Lima fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joam Bodes couldn't finish the play. Joam Bodes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 71st play minutes Froylan Labastida shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Playo Cavero and just under the crossbar into goal. Omar Garriga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joam Bodes in the 79th minute of play. After 82 played minutes Alianza Lima got a freekick which was hit by Gabrio Noguera. Porfirio Ponga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Playo Cavero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sapotal 's Porfirio Ponga got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ramirez Remon hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match.
