In the 13th minute, Eufemio Balague hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 23 minutes into the match, Real Club Ancash's goalkeeper Gartzen Pumareto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Juvenal Colmenares. Real Club Ancash's Gartzen Pumareto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Real Club Ancash from getting a goal against them. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Real Club Ancash's goalkeeper Gartzen Pumareto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Juvenal Colmenares who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 29thth minute tested the skills of Gartzen Pumareto when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 32nd minute, Xaver Loro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Muc Arenzano in the 44th minute of play forced AC Libertad's goalkeeper Guillerme Espejo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Criston Canel charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Criston Canel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.

After 53 played minutes Real Club Ancash got a freekick which was hit by Adolfo Lujo. Mingo Pola, 54 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. AC Libertad's Eutropio Benegas got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The AC Libertad fans' excitement grew in the 59th match minute when AC Libertad's Eutropio Benegas looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Muc Arenzano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guillerme Espejo having to interfere. AC Libertad's Guillerme Espejo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save AC Libertad from getting a goal against them. When Criston Canel was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 74 minutes had been played. A collision led to AC Libertad getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Criston Canel hit a great ball. In the 80th minute, Xaver Loro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Muc Arenzano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 83 minutes of play Real Club Ancash's Eufemio Balague was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. AC Libertad's Juvenal Colmenares got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Muc Arenzano's late challenge caught a AC Libertad's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Muc Arenzano helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Real Club Ancash getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Muc Arenzano hit a great ball. If Jerardo Rebolloso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 97th minute, Juvenal Colmenares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
