In the 22nd minute, Atlas FC's Tancredo Coello seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Tancredo Coello the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Atlas FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Tancredo Coello had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee gave Los Cremas a penalty, 24 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Gai Benitua, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Atlas FC's Lluterio Villagran. 2-1. If Merexildo Baena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Merexildo Baena might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jaen Suso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Merexildo Baena ran back to his position shaking his head. Porfirio Hermida received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Jaen Suso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Los Cremas's Jaen Suso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Los Cremas from getting a goal against them. Demetrio Legorburu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Jaen Suso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Merexildo Baena recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Atlas FC's Lluterio Villagran proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Atlas FC from getting a goal against them. After 57 played minutes Atlas FC got a freekick which was hit by Egoi Boo. Damario Barrionuevo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Lluterio Villagran firmly grabbed it by the left post. Danilo Naves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaen Suso having to interfere. Jaen Suso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Merexildo Baena in the 67th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Merexildo Baena in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jaen Suso saved Los Cremas from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Los Cremas's zone, Merexildo Baena stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jaen Suso came out of the goal and Merexildo Baena tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 86 minutes into the game, Merexildo Baena cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Jaen Suso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Geofredo Eradi kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. There was no doubt that Atlas FC were the better team. Atlas FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
