But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Llorenc Noguer couldn't finish the play. If Criston Montes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Criston Montes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Mikeldi Castañiza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chilluparje's supporters rose to their feet, but Mikeldi Castañiza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sandaili Foyo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 30th minute, Joaquin Maquiano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sandaili Foyo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Sandaili Foyo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mikeldi Castañiza, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. When Florencio Abadie fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chilluparje's protests and gave Florencio Abadie a yellow card for diving instead. In the 39th minute, Florencio Abadie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 44th minute, Chilluparje's Mikeldi Castañiza ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sandaili Foyo. Sandaili Foyo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Criston Montes made a kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Erruki Gox recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gurutz Farto. Erruki Gox showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Criston Montes took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for Gurutz Farto to make any attempt to save it. Joaquin Maquiano struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Sandaili Foyo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chilluparje. Sandaili Foyo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mikeldi Castañiza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 72 minutes of play, Chilluparje's Mikeldi Castañiza made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sandaili Foyo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Criston Montes in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gurutz Farto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Erruki Gox got free with Gurutz Farto in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Erruki Gox received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Gurutz Farto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erruki Gox sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Despite being the better team, San Panxo Fc failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
