The audience thought a goal was coming when Jabier Queipo got free with Silverio Salvia in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Halcones Dorados's Ted Puga got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 22 minutes, Jabier Queipo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the DEPORTIVO TACNA and the Halcones Dorados players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jabier Queipo kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, Halcones Dorados's Nicolas Querejeta broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 26th minute of the match Pio Cueva shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Silverio Salvia showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ordono Lacle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ted Puga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ted Puga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ordono Lacle having to interfere. Ted Puga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Ordono Lacle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Oriche Sagarribay made the kick off in the second half. Ordono Lacle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ted Puga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of DEPORTIVO TACNA booed when Halcones Dorados was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Macerio Tarriba didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oriche Sagarribay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Halcones Dorados getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Hug Montenegro hit a great ball. In the 58th minute, Zeru Dorrial got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Silverio Salvia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oriche Sagarribay in the 59th minute of the match. Zeru Dorrial struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Silverio Salvia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for DEPORTIVO TACNA. Ordono Lacle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ted Puga in the 64th minute of the match. In the 66th minute Ted Puga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ordono Lacle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the DEPORTIVO TACNA defense, Botello Morejon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ordono Lacle. The DEPORTIVO TACNA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ordono Lacle should have stopped the shot. Halcones Dorados's Ted Puga got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 83 minutes into the match, Botello Morejon notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of DEPORTIVO TACNA's Ordono Lacle. Ordono Lacle was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Oriche Sagarribay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Silverio Salvia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Oriche Sagarribay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rd of the match, Ted Puga tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Ordono Lacle got in the way and made a wonderful save. The Halcones Dorados players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
