Julian Bergues made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Virgilio Eguiara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reyes Pedros having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Iraicha's Rodrigo Briñas got a free kick in the 22nd minute. In the 40th minute, Cordarin Zarate got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 46th minute, Xaver Amenabar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Iraicha fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. The FC Pachacute!!! players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Iraicha were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Neto Massana stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With his leg Julian Bergues managed to avoid a goal in the 55thth minute, when Iraicha's Xaver Amenabar fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Neto Massana managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Pachacute!!!'s supporters rose to their feet, but Neto Massana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Reyes Pedros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Virgilio Eguiara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Neto Massana in the 64th minute of play forced Iraicha's goalkeeper Reyes Pedros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elvio Sotelo's late challenge caught a FC Pachacute!!!'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Iraicha's goalkeeper Reyes Pedros, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 80 minutes into the game, one of FC Pachacute!!!:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 82nd minute there was a penalty for Iraicha. Ivan Estela stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Julian Bergues. 1-3. Virgilio Eguiara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reyes Pedros having to interfere. Iraicha's Reyes Pedros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Neto Massana in the 98th minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Iraicha had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
