An unexpectedly hard shot by Gelmiro Ferreiro in the 24th minute of play forced CACIQVE FC's goalkeeper Illart Ezquibela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, CACIQVE FC's Olivar Videgaray got a free kick in the 28th minute. Gelmiro Ferreiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Illart Ezquibela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of CACIQVE FC booed when Sportivo DAALCO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reynaldo Pico didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joaquim Pumares couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in CACIQVE FC's zone, Gelmiro Ferreiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Illart Ezquibela came out of the goal and Gelmiro Ferreiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joaquim Pumares got free with Illart Ezquibela in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Joaquim Pumares came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Sportivo DAALCO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joaquim Pumares couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, CACIQVE FC's Illart Ezquibela got control of the ball when Ofelio Viña tried to sneak it across the goal line. Olivar Videgaray kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 78th minute, Joaquim Pumares made a precise shot to the right of Illart Ezquibela. CACIQVE FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. If Gelmiro Ferreiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Txaran Mestanza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jobo Chirghentino in the 86th minute of the match. Sportivo DAALCO's Reynaldo Pico got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 92 minutes into the match, CACIQVE FC's goalkeeper Illart Ezquibela had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joaquim Pumares. In the 94th minute, Joaquim Pumares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The CACIQVE FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Sportivo DAALCO were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
