Laureano Hostos was a little too slow when Pirro Lambriabe got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 36th minute. The score was now 3-1. Jurgi Averasturi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jose-Antonio Zarza in the 44th minute of play forced Ovejuyo's goalkeeper Laureano Hostos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 47 minutes into the match, Ovejuyo's goalkeeper Laureano Hostos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Steven Jayaga. Gaitan Arnuero might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lapurdi Sudupe. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gaitan Arnuero ran back to his position shaking his head. If Gaitan Arnuero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gaitan Arnuero got free with Lapurdi Sudupe in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Aurken Velis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 94 minutes into the match, Jurgi Averasturi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Laureano Hostos.
