Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Cordero Herrasti took the kick off in the first half of the match. Huilacucho's Prejun Thomas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cordero Herrasti in the 3rd minute of play. If Placido Lucio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bittor Herriaga, 11 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Prejun Thomas was a little too slow when Cordero Herrasti got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 13th minute. The score was now 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Huilacucho's zone, Cordero Herrasti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Prejun Thomas came out of the goal and Cordero Herrasti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Huilacucho's goalkeeper Prejun Thomas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pelagius Jimeno's late challenge caught a Huilacucho's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pelagius Jimeno helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Huilacucho booed when Huaypira FBC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pelagius Jimeno didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cordero Herrasti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cordero Herrasti was extremely unlucky when he, in the 29th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. When the match clock showed 29 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Carlomagno Melcon sped through Huilacucho's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Prejun Thomas. With an all-out effort, Huaypira FBC's Prejun Thomas threw himself towards the right post 34 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cordero Herrasti, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Prejun Thomas was a little too slow when Carlomagno Melcon got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 41st minute. The score was now 3-0. Carlomagno Melcon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prejun Thomas having to interfere. 46 minutes into the match, Huilacucho's goal looked a bit too open when Cordero Herrasti came free, but Prejun Thomas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Placido Lucio was the one to do the kick off. Madeo Gallinal was out of position in the 52 minute of play, and Placido Lucio capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Placido Lucio really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. Prejun Thomas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cordero Herrasti, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. 64 minutes into the match, Cordero Herrasti had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Prejun Thomas. Huilacucho's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cordero Herrasti was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. If Carlomagno Melcon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Xabier Cuenca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vitoria Lagos during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 76th minute, one of Huilacucho:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Huilacucho. In the 78th minute there was a penalty for Huaypira FBC. Bittor Herriaga stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Prejun Thomas. 5-1. Placido Lucio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Madeo Gallinal having to interfere. When Huaypira FBC's Carlomagno Melcon in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Huilacucho's goalie prevented a goal. Illart Baltanas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Madeo Gallinal having to interfere. Prejun Thomas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlomagno Melcon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Huaypira FBC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Huilacucho had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
