But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that José Berger couldn't finish the play. José Berger struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Tabor Irabien didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atlético Xatun Xauxa. 14 minutes into the match, Atlético Xatun Xauxa's Bartolo Barricat sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tabor Irabien narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tabor Irabien didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bartolo Barricat went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Tabor Irabien came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Atlético Xatun Xauxa's Bartolo Barricat. But to his dismay, Bartolo Barricat quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 36th minute Pedro Paulo Ferro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tabor Irabien saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lucanas FC's Tabor Irabien played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bartolo Barricat in the 40th minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Bartolo Barricat had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tabor Irabien. Lucanas FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bartolo Barricat was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Bartolo Barricat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tabor Irabien having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Enaut Verastegui to strike the kick off in the second half. Dida Saraiva blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tabor Irabien having to make a save. Lucanas FC's Tabor Irabien proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Lucanas FC from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Atlético Xatun Xauxa's zone, Sadurni Arambula stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgar Santana came out of the goal and Sadurni Arambula tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. José Berger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dida Saraiva received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tabor Irabien came out and tried to block the shot, but Dida Saraiva slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 63rd minute. In the 66th minute, Chorache Lallera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 67 minutes, the score became 1-5 when Enaut Verastegui sped through Atlético Xatun Xauxa's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Edgar Santana. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bartolo Barricat in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tabor Irabien saved Lucanas FC from getting behind. Tabor Irabien took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Berger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Enaut Verastegui managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lucanas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Enaut Verastegui was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edgar Santana breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Atlético Xatun Xauxa's zone, Sadurni Arambula stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enaut Verastegui sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tabor Irabien made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when José Berger sent off a good shot on target. In the 86th minute, Atlético Xatun Xauxa's Bartolo Barricat ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tabor Irabien. Tabor Irabien yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-6. Tabor Irabien showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Berger in the 91st minute of the match.
