Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Omar Respaldiza took the kick off in the first half of the match. Kinsen Correduria struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Edson Pascual didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cheques. In the 11th minute, Roger Viñuela ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edson Pascual was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Alberino Prabes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xicu Millares having to interfere. After 22 minutes, Gervaso Senderos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cheques and the Huancaroni players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 22nd match minute, Cheques was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gervaso Senderos to maneuver through the defense. An unexpected shot in the 24th minute by Roger Viñuela got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 28th minute of the match Baumer Figueras shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edson Pascual showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 30th minute, Prejun Monzonis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Manolo Lerdo, 30 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After some careless play in the Huancaroni defense, Roger Viñuela kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edson Pascual. The Huancaroni fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edson Pascual should have stopped the shot. After 38 minutes, Genaro Landa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Huancaroni and the Cheques players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 38th minute, Genaro Landa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Kinsen Correduria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kinsen Correduria in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edson Pascual saved Huancaroni from getting behind. Roger Viñuela could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Edson Pascual made a huge save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kinsen Correduria to strike the kick off in the second half. Kinsen Correduria struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Huancaroni's zone, Roger Viñuela stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edson Pascual came out of the goal and Roger Viñuela tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edson Pascual showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kinsen Correduria, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. When Roger Viñuela came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Cheques fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roger Viñuela couldn't finish the play. Kinsen Correduria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Edson Pascual tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Cheques fully deserved thier win.
