The audience thought a goal was coming when Igor Rabelo got free with Duardo Hondaro in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 10 played minutes, FC Chabelos Jrs.'s Estevam Tolentin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tino Viñambres came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Chabelos Jrs. reached it. Veto Traves's late challenge caught a FC Chabelos Jrs.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Veto Traves helped the player get up and apologised. In the 12th minute, Veto Traves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 14th match minute, EMG FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niguel Damar to maneuver through the defense. Natalio Cevallo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, EMG FC's Veto Traves got a free kick in the 18th minute. If Guipuzkoa Abin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in FC Chabelos Jrs.'s zone, Cristiano Resamano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Duardo Hondaro came out of the goal and Cristiano Resamano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A hard shot 28 in the game by Igor Rabelo from a close distance when the talented Duardo Hondaro managed to make a qualified save. FC Chabelos Jrs.'s players were relieved. The long shot by Xzaver Iranzo in the 30th minute really tested Duardo Hondaro's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Tino Viñambres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Natalio Cevallo in the 32nd minute of play. Guipuzkoa Abin might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tino Viñambres. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Guipuzkoa Abin ran back to his position shaking his head. Teofilo Zamarro charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teofilo Zamarro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to EMG FC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Teofilo Zamarro hit a great ball. Natalio Cevallo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tino Viñambres having to interfere. In the 49th match minute, FC Chabelos Jrs. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurelio Berrueta to maneuver through the defense. Iban Blanquel, 49 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The supporters of EMG FC booed when FC Chabelos Jrs. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Estevam Tolentin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Igor Rabelo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Duardo Hondaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Duardo Hondaro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristiano Resamano went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristiano Resamano in the 72nd minute of play forced FC Chabelos Jrs.'s goalkeeper Duardo Hondaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Igor Rabelo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Natalio Cevallo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Tino Viñambres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. EMG FC's Teofilo Zamarro got his second yellow card of the match in the 77th minute. The referee ordered Teofilo Zamarro off the ground. Teofilo Zamarro hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Duardo Hondaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Rabelo, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Guipuzkoa Abin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tino Viñambres having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Rabelo in the 94th minute of play forced FC Chabelos Jrs.'s goalkeeper Duardo Hondaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 96 minutes in the game, Natalio Cevallo fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Tino Viñambres having to interfere. EMG FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
